Learning Trail is being designed and tested with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its target. That target guides the work; it is not a certification or a guarantee that every experience is barrier-free.
Current scope
What the website is working to support.
- Semantic page landmarks and a logical heading structure.
- Keyboard access to navigation, links, filters, search, and interactive controls.
- Visible focus indicators and touch targets designed to be at least 44 CSS pixels.
- A skip link for moving directly to the main content.
- Responsive reflow and readable text across supported viewport sizes.
- Reduced-motion preferences and non-motion access to essential information.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative images.
- Labels, names, instructions, and status messages where controls require them.
Known limits
Accessibility work is ongoing.
Browsers, devices, assistive technologies, and future CMS content can behave differently. New images, documents, external destinations, and interactive features need review as they are added.
External destinations
When a valid external link is present, the destination is operated outside this website and may have different accessibility behavior.
Future content
Covers, worksheet files, and other content added later require their own text, document, keyboard, and visual review before publication.
